Future Changes to Workgroup/Visitor Requirements

Hello Volunteers! This memo is to share recent changes that have been made regarding visiting our Missions. As you may already know - normally, booking a group of 10 - 24 people to visit one of our Missions requires a $100USD deposit. And for group sizes larger than 24, the deposit is $250USD, while teams smaller than 10 are not required to send in a deposit. These deposits are normally due 90 days after the date you are sent a confirmation letter. The deposit holds your date/housing on the calendar then it is put towards your room/board, of which our suggested donation is $15 a day p/person. During the course of your stay with us, each Mission provides our visitors three meals a day, hot water, electricity and housing.

Effective January 1, 2010, all visitors booked from this January date and onward will be required a per person deposit at $10USD p/person. For example, if you bring 7 people, then your deposit will be $70USD, and if your team number rises then will your deposit will increase accordingly.  However, if your number decreases, either way, your deposit will be put towards the room and board donation of $15USD a day p/person. The amount we suggest to donate towards room and board is not a requirement, only a suggestion to help us cover the cost of your stay with us which is a tremendous blessing as costs and demands for operations increase.

Deposits will still be due by 3 months (90 days) from the date we send you a confirmation letter. Deposits should still be sent to the US – San Clemente Office for teams originating from the U.S. Canadian groups should still send their donations to the MEA – Canadian Office and currency exchange for the day the deposit is issued will be accepted. Both contact information can be found on our website: www.ffhm.org . Please include the same information with your deposit as you did before as this helps us place the amount in the corresponding fund.
