Alternative Christmas
The purpose of this is to provide individuals, families, and churches an alternative, creative way to celebrate Christ’s birthday. He frequently spoke about God’s concern for the poor or oppressed. “I was hungry and you gave me something to eat…I was a stranger and you invited me in…” Matthew 15:35. Many of our traditions are self indulgent or extravagant. Would it not be more appropriate to bless someone truly needy, the poorest of the poor? Get involved here.
