Retired Volunteers
A unique aspect of Foundation for His Ministry, which is also a blessing to the children in our care, is the opportunity for many retired individuals and couples to continue to give their lives, gifts and talents to those in need. We are especially blessed to be able to provide a way for this group to participate at the Mission in Vicente Guerrero in Baja California, Mexico.
While many of our long-term staff live in donated travel trailers and mobile homes, we have created a double row of concrete pads for the use of our volunteers who bring their own homes with them. Typically, these visitors come from the far North when the winter snow and cold pushes them South into the Baja. Like the migrating birds, we are blessed to have the same volunteers return year after year.
We have also had adventurous retirees drive their mobile homes to Oaxaca, so don’t let the distance stop you from taking a great trip and serving the least of His.
