Ministry to the Disabled

The "Angel Ministry" provides specially adapted wheelchairs, equipment, physical therapy ... and most importantly ... spiritual care for shut-ins who would otherwise be without hope.

Dirk and Mary Kos left all in Edmonton, Alberta Canada, to oversee this ministry to the forgotten. Wheelchairs were given, customized and repaired. Some traveled hundreds of miles to receive a customized wheelchair. Gustav Woerner,  Physical Therapist, regularly visits the homebound.

A room in our Medical Center was renovated for physical therapy and a day program for disabled children, where they are also given life and vocational skills. Our beloved Sandra Cordova (our Administrator's daughter) now 28, stood and took steps with a walker for the first time. Hallelujah...the infirmed and the aged are now mobile!

The "Disabled Children's Day Home" (formerly known as Mephibosheth Ministry) provides a unique environment for disabled children to receive physical therapy in combination with life skills training, education, and spiritual care. Some of these children had previously never left their bed, or their home, and for the first time are receiving loving attention and help.

If you would like to support this ministry, go to our Contributions page.  If you have a wheel chair or other equipment for the disabled you would like to donate, please contact our U.S. office.
