TV Station Outreach

Our TV station began broadcasting about 10 years ago and continues today to provide wholesome programming to the children and staff at our Mission in Baja. An evangelistic byproduct of this station is that we are also able to broadcast into the nearby community, reaching about 1,500 people.
Roger
Rogelio (Roger) Meza has been operating this small station for the past seven years. He identifies specific programs provided by a cable service and re-broadcasts them; while not necessarily Christian in nature, he selects those that are wholesome, educational or news-related, such as programs on health and hygiene, or good, clean movies that are appropriate for all our children and staff. He complements this programming with Christian music, recorded sermons and testimonials, and movies of an evangelistic content which he collected over the years.
Recently, he has had the ability to edit videos taken of the children at special functions which are played back for them. This is something the children really enjoy! Roger is hoping to become more proficient in film editing, so if this is your area of expertise, and you plan a visit to Baja Mission, please go see Roger in the TV Station (part of the Outreach Center) – he would sure appreciate any advice or training you have to offer.
We are always in need of current Christian or wholesome movies in Spanish, as well as educational or health related video materials, in Spanish. If you have access to something like this, give our office a call and let us know about it.
