We are blessed to have a beautiful modern medical center - Clinica de Cristo - in Baja. We are submitted to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, serving poorest of the poor. All services are given without charge. This center is designed to be a place where women can have their babies in a sterile environment, and visiting surgeons could bring hope to the hopeless. Many children suffer from congenital malformations, cleft palates, cleft lip, and burn injuries. Through the years we have made arrangements for hundreds of them to have corrective surgery in the United States. Since 9/ll bringing children to the United States is impossible as most of them do not have birth certificates or passports. Lord willing that need can be met in our met in our medical/surgical wing by surgeons willing to volunteer their services at the Mission. In addition to our surgery and birthing center, we can also provide dental and optical services for visiting or staff professionals.
We are praying for a Missionary Doctor to come in residence. If you feel a call to this honored position, please consider making application.

In June of 1998, we sponsored our first medical/dental outreach to Oaxaca, Mexico. With the Assistance of Mission Aviation Fellowship, our team of workers reached far into remote areas of Southwestern Mexico to bring desperately needed medical treatment to hundreds of indigenous people. Spiritual needs were also met as our team shared the “Good News” of Jesus Christ and His love with the people. Many trips have been made since that time. To all of these opportunities we can only say, “to God be the glory.”
In 1998, two general practitioners were added to our staff, and other medical specialists come throughout the year and volunteer their services. However, the need for staffing and supplies always remains critical. (See our “Wants and Needs” list. Christian medical students looking for additional intern experience are invited to apply for short-term service. Truly, this field, is “white for harvest” for those who would have a heart to help.
We covet your prayers. Doors are opening in many parts of Mexico to reach out with medical teams, and we pray for the resources to do the work. There is a tender place in the heart of our Master for the sick and afflicted. We pray for that place to be also in your heart. God bless you.
