From Capital University Baseball Hall of Fame, onto the Cleveland Indians, 1945 – 1948, Pastor Gordon Shira’s call to the ministry prevailed. Pastor Shira served a number of congregations. He then moved to Southern California and in 1973 – 1985 he served faithfully on the FFHM Board as spiritual adviser. He moved to Charlottesville, VA, married Ruth and continued his missionary service to ANM. It has been said about Gordon, “he was the most Christ-like of any I’ve known.” Pastor Shira went to be with the Lord on June 8th.

A WORK GROUP AT THE BAJA MISSION
Every Sunday night a work group arrives at the Baja Mission. Some with great expectations and others don’t know what to expect…but with very few exceptions all will go home saying, “we will never be the same.” Please pray that they will have a life changing experience, free from any accident, injury or sickness and that they will be blessed to be a blessing. If you'd like to schedule a work group please email Carmen: firstname.lastname@example.org.
