FRIDAY DINNER WENT WELL
Thank you for praying for our monthly dinner held at Lutheran Church of The Cross last week. There were 60 in attendance. Jan Holter (left) led us in anointed praise and worship. Carl Holter serves on our Board of Directors and Jan is an accomplished pianist. The Holters live in Wisconsin. Carrie Irving (left), Adviser to the Board, shared a dynamic testimony of the Valley Vineyard’s ministry in the mountains of Oaxaca. Everyone was enthralled.

PASTORS CONFERENCE IN OAXACA
A team from our Baja and Oaxaca Missions hosted hosted a pastors conference in the mountains of Juxtlahuaca last weekend. Mario Cordoba was one of those who was there to minister. Praise God, pastors and missionaries were blessed beyond measure.
HOUSE MOTHERS NEEDED
We still have a need in both Baja and in Oaxaca for house mothers. Pray for women who have the capacity to love the children of others.
TEACHER NEEDED IN OAXACA
A bilingual elementary school teacher is needed in Oaxaca. And, of course, we continue to pray for a doctor for our medical center in Baja.
Please pray for our mountain missionaries, Maria and Teresa. They have been given the challenge from Samaritains Purse to take gifts to an unreached community. This Saturday (February 11th) they will be going to the community of Encino Amarillo to have this activity. Please also pray for safe travels, as Maria's vehicle has been having mechanical problems recently.
The little red Nissan truck of Maria's has died. She needs a replacement at approximate cost of $16,000. We have received $9,100 towards the truck. You may give toward this project here… https://www.ffhm.org/support-a-project/truck-for-maria-in-oaxaca/
Pat Durkin will return to her new residence this weekend. She has been given a clean bill of health from her doctor. Praise God.
Sherlyn, a student at the TJ House, had to have emergency surgery Thursday morning to remove a large mass from her abdomen. She is still in the hospital recovering, and the mass was sent to pathology to make sure it wasn’t cancerous. Please pray for her quick and cancer-free recovery.
Jim Knowlton, former missionary to Papua New Guinea and school teacher, had a problem swallowing. After some time, paramedics were called and he was taken to the hospital. The doctors detected a more serious problem and said that if he had not been taken to the hospital, he would have died. What the enemy meant for evil God turned to good. His wife, Bertie Knowlton, now deceased, did the illustrations for The Little Lost Pup, available from the US office.
