Praise God for our volunteers who sent the Canadian and U.S. newsletter this week. They were dispatched with prayer and the hope that many would open the newsletters and respond. Thank God for the Klebaus who oversee our U.S. mailing and Pastor Mike Bayer from the Village Church, who oversees the Canadian mailing.
Children’s day is celebrated in Mexico. At the Baja Mission, we are using this holiday as an evangelical outreach to 1,500 children. Each child will be given the opportunity to receive Jesus Christ as their personal savior. The program will include lots of fun, food, and fellowship. Please pray for this event. It will make a difference in the lives of His little ones.
For sale or perhaps as a donation to a ministry: Heidelberg Press, a small printing press, a folding machine and darkroom equipment. For many years, our newsletters, envelopes, letterhead, etc. were all printed at the Baja Mission in Mexico, 178 miles south of the U.S. border. Transporting the paper and the finished product, became an increasing expense. For years, we longed for a newsletter in color; then we were given a price for color printing at Universal Press in San Clemente. The cost is only a few pennies more than black and white AND we no longer have to transport the items to and from the Baja Mission. Thus, our print shop has closed.
