SINALOA - HOME FOR CHILDREN

Praise God and thank you donors! We now have all of the money needed to purchase property in Sinaloa. Peter Bianchini and Mario Cordoba will travel to Sinaloa April 17th to meet with the sellers. Thank you for praying. The next faith adventure awaits! We will begin constructing a children's home on this beautiful property. We will need tradesmen who have motorhomes to do the construction. There are full hookups on the property. Contact the San Clemente office at (949) 492-2200 if you want to help!

NICHE OVERSEES OUR CHILDREN'S HOME

Niche and others have been praying for a teen girls house mother. Praise God! A house mother has been found and is on her way to serve at the Oaxaca Mission. A wonderful answer to prayer!

NEW EDUCATION CENTER

Our beautiful new Education Center was dedicated Friday, March 31, 2017. It was funded by staff and children of Strathcona Christian Academy in Alberta, Canada. More will follow in the June newsletter.

LOIS AND EVERETT

Please pray for Dr. Everett and Lois Wilson whose daughter Kristi Garcia works in the San Clemente office. Lois suffered a stroke Sunday night and is now in ICU at Saddleback Hospital, Laguna Woods, CA. Dr. Everett and Lois visited the Mission last year where he spent several days teaching at our Bible Institute.

BOB & MARIE SOUTHARD

Bob and Marie Southard have been friends of His Ministry since 1973. Their son, Rod, now serves on our U.S. Board of Directors. The Southards are praying about a potential move. They are requesting prayer for God's guidance.

JIM AND LORETTA

Please pray for Jim and Loretta Little who are seeking God's direction regarding some business decisions and for Loretta who needs a miraculous healing.

SINALOA

We receive precious notes like this one: "After I wrote the first check for $100 to use where most needed, the Lord's Holy Spirit prompted me to write another to help you purchase the property in Sinaloa. I want to make a trip there to help build".

BECKY PETERSON

And notes like this one from Becky Peterson, Emmaus Lutheran Church: "Charla, I would encourage you to consider writing another book. So much has happened within the ministry since the last one. We prepare teams who come to serve at the Mission by having them read both books!

MISSIONARIES TO OAXACA

Becky also shared the Wycliffe Bible Translators publication. She thought I would be interested because it related to Oaxaca. She was right!

The publication tells us that in 1946, Cam Townsend, Founder of Wycliffe Bible Translators, reluctantly sent the first two young women to a remote village in Oaxaca Mexico. We've learned they were housed in the very same two room adobe home of Charles Curtis' grandparents, where they lived for two years doing translation work on the Zapotec language Bible. It is so obvious that God had a master plan. He wants to direct our lives and He promises to do so.
