CHILDREN OF PROMISE
Three more of our precious children have graduated from high school. Magai and Franco will be taking the entrance test for the University. It is often who you know or how much money you have that determines whether you are accepted. Please pray that they will pass the very difficult entrance exam. Yiria has chosen to remain at the Mission for another year to determine her life’s goals. She is a lovely young woman who looks to Minerva as a surrogate Mom. Thank you for praying for these young people. Your gifts made a difference in these students’ lives.
ABUNDIO, SARA AND HANS
Hans Benning and Jose Luis oversee Rancho de Cristo (our rehab center),and are not afraid to confront sin. They believe God has ordained the institution of marriage. Hans Benning officiated at the beautiful wedding service of Abundio and Sara and the gala celebration that followed. (Heb 13:4) Let marriage be held in honor by all…
The staff at the Mission in Baja say thank you for the forklift. You can’t imagine what a blessing it has been lifting heavy pallets, etc. But guess what? The warehouse garage door broke. One of our visitors tried to fix it. The maintenance staff tried to repair it, but the mechanism is just too old. This is an urgent need and the estimated cost of a replacement is $1500. Please pray for the replacement to the warehouse door.
CUNA IN OAXACA REOPENED
DIF, which is equivalent to our U.S. Social Services, has requested that we reopen our nursery (cuna) in Oaxaca. There is an urgent need to care for infants and toddlers. Niche is going to cover this responsibility. Pray for these “His Little Ones”. Even infants suffer the loss of their biological mothers.
SAM AND PAT
Sam and Pat Pawlak, formerly of Second Half Ministries, are current Pastors of Leisure World Assembly of God, Seal Beach. Pat is battling her third bout with cancer and requesting intercessory prayer to help her fight this battle.
