This summer, the Baja Mission had a family Bible camp.
They paid to rent a facility not far from the Mission. Keith and Maya Durkin were the main speakers. Everyone was divided
into four teams and every day they had games and competitions
to determine who would be the winning team.
On Friday, everyone from the mission, including staff and visitors,
went out for devotions and to spend the day swimming.
It was a wonderful time!
SCHOOL CHILDREN AT THE BAJA MISSION
This year we have received an abundance of school supplies
at the Baja Mission. In fact, Cheryl Trevor, our school administrator,
said there may be enough for two years.
Thank you so much for your contributions.
THE ORIGINAL TILES BEING SET INTO THE CEMET ON THE SIDEWALK
There’s a sidewalk that leads from the Baja Mission to the church
with tiles inset that give the chronological order of events
from creation to the second coming of Jesus.
Over time they have become worn down with age and constant sweeping. Bob Lloyd made these wonderful tiles,
and is now searching for a material which will be more durable.
Please pray that he will find one.
DENNY AND ANDREA (ANDIE) PEREAU LOMBARD
Andie continues to need prayer following knee replacement surgery.
Her leg remains very swollen and she is in pain.
JUDY GAMA STRAUSSER AND JAMES STRAUSSER
Our precious sister and friend, Judy, is in need of prayer.
Judy founded WINGS, our only auxiliary group in Redding, CA.
The Straussers had to be evacuated because of the Carr fires.
They are now living in the fifth place since evacuation.
They have been working hard in their house so they can move back in.
Judy is in very fragile health. Please pray.
Laura, administrator in Oaxaca,
will be leaving on a much needed vacation in Colorado.
Praise God, Laura’s permanent resident visa came through.
That is an answer to prayer.
IAN AND ELAINE CROFT
Ian and Elaine returned to the Oaxaca Mission last week.
They will be working on plans for construction of the much needed staff housing.
THE MEETING PLACE
MINISTRY IN THE MOUNTAINS
Our TJ students recently went on their first missionary trip to Huajuapan (Wah-ha-pan), Oaxaca. Please see prayer and praise letter on August 3.
The group worked very hard improving the meeting place by cleaning and building shelves for educational material, etc. Glenda in Huajuapan opened another Bible study group with a family in great need.
Please pray, the Gospel is going to those in desperate need.
RICARDO AND ANDREA BOLANOS
Our TJ Housemother, Andrea, is being treated for strep throat
and has developed an allergy to the antibiotic she is taking.
Please pray for a miraculous healing for Andrea.
