BILL ROGERS, MARK AND TOM

BIBLE INSTITUTE

God continues to answer our prayers. In August 2008, God sent an amazing team, BillMark and Tom from Redding, CA, to do all the electrical on the expansion of our Bible Institute. The team arrived just in time and the electrical wiring was done in a few days. The Bible Institute is now in need of refurbishing and we are praying for resources to complete the job.

God will supply our needs once again.

GABRIEL BLANCO (LEFT) ARNOLDO AYALA (RIGHT)

Gabriel from the Baja Mission lost his mother and a three-year-old brother recently, they were hit by a car and both died. Arnoldo lost his mother also.

Please pray that God will comfort the hearts of these two boys.

MIA SANCHEZ AND MARELY CERROS

ANDRES SANTOYO AND MARIA DEL CARMEN

DAISY LOPEZ

Five students from the Baja Mission started junior high school
on Monday, August 20th.

They are very nervous and need prayer to face this new challenge.
They are: Mia, Marely, Daisy, Andres, and Maria.

REDDING CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP VOLUNTEERS

Redding Christian Fellowship is hosting Samaritan’s Purse in an effort to help those affected by the Carr Fire. They have set-up a volunteer center at the church and have orientation twice daily for volunteers going out that day.

Each team is led by a core leader out at the site and they make sure the volunteers are safe. The homeowner is there to point out where items might be found.

At the end of the day, chaplains come to talk and pray with the home owners.
They present them with a Billy Graham Bible.

Please continue to pray for the families and volunteers.

STUDENT IN OAXACA

Our students in Oaxaca have returned to school and
our elementary students in Baja will return on Monday, August 27th.
Please pray for the teachers and students.

Many have difficulties in learning and there are several children who’ve never been to school. House parents have a challenging job. They have to have the capacity
to love children who are not their own. Many of whom have deep
emotional scars from abandonment or rejection.
