LUTHERAN CHURCH OF THE CROSS
Last week, our phones were on vacation mode and not all reservations for our monthly prayer group dinner were received. I had the privilege of calling and speaking with many of you. We have taken the privilege of adding you to our Prayer and Praise weekly letter so you will be notified prior to the dinner.
MARILYNN AND DAVE YEADON AND ELLA WESTRA
WORKING ON THE PLANS FOR THE OAXACA MISSION.
WE WILL SOON CELEBRATE OUR 20TH ANNIVERSARY.
Marilynn, Dave and Ella were in on the planning of the Oaxaca Mission. Marilynn is very close to her graduation into heaven. This picture was taken in 2000.
Please pray for the Yeadon family. The Yeadons served on our board for many years and often took work groups from Desert Hot Springs, CA to the Mission.

MARIA AT OUR RADIO STATION
Glory to God! From Juxtlahuaca, Oaxaca our radio station is broadcasting again 24/7. The transmitter was down and it is now up and running.
The gospel is being preached into remote areas.
(LEFT TO RIGHT) TWILA BELK, JANELLE KELLER AND CHARLA PEREAU
Twila, Janelle and Charla on a very quick trip to the Mission in Oaxaca and Baja, so Twila could get an overview of His Ministry. The book is now in process.
IDANIA AND ROUMELLE (6 MONTHS OLD)
Laura from Oaxaca writes, “We have a new house mother that just arrived, Idania. People can be praying for that transition, both for her and her young daughter, as they get to know our family here.”
CORRINE EHRICK, CHARLA AND CHUCK PEREAU
Corrine, one of our most beloved administrators, served during
the 80’s and 90’s.She also served on the FFHM board following her
time as an administrator. She will celebrate her 90th birthday on May 1st.
We visited Corrine in a retirement home during the Christmas season.
What a blessing Corrine is; she sends kisses to all who know and love her.
ORPHANED BOY RETURNS TO BLESS OTHERS
Perhaps you remember the Camarena family? Eight children were left orphaned in a fatal car accident and the children were interned at the Baja Mission.
Francisco was a mischievous little boy. He graduated from law school
and now works for a large store in town. He and his associates
hosted a Christmas party at our Special Education Center.
We thank God for all those who helped us celebrate Christmas.
We couldn’t do it without you.
