NIGHT IN BETHLEHEM

Another wonderful presentation of the Night in Bethlehem performed by our own church, staff and children at the Baja mission, was shared with the community.
Please take a look and enjoy.

REVEREND JEAN DARNELL

Reverend Jean graduated to her heavenly reward last week. Jean was a student of Amy Simple McPherson and traveled around the world teaching and preaching the Gospel.
She also had a miraculous healing ministry.

I had the privilege of meeting Jean in 1961 when she was Pastor at Angelus Temple
and a leader in the charismatic movement that encircled the globe.
Elmer and Jean were missionaries to Central America and Australia.

Elmer established a Bible Institute in England and Jean ministered mainly in the Anglican Church there for 25 years. And then they were off to Hawaii and taught at YWAM’s international school with Loren Cunningham. Most recently Jean ministered
at the Church on the Way in Van Nuys, CA.

It was Jean Darnell who established Foundation for His Ministry.
We’ve known her to be a personal friend and advisor.
She was our speaker at the 50th Anniversary celebration in Laguna Woods.

HENRY AND BECKY BUNCH

Henry and Becky were part of our prayer group for years. Henry, a professor at Saddleback Community College, graduated to heaven unexpectedly. He was at the prayer group dinner last Friday night. His service will be held at O’Connor Mortuary in Laguna Hills Friday, January 18th at 2pm.

Please pray for the family, this was a shock!

is being evaluated for autism. His development remains incomplete.
Please pray for this special little fellow."

FOURTH GRADERS FROM GREENWOOD, ARKANSAS
WHO RAISED MONEY FOR OAXACA CHILDREN'S LIBRARY

Kathy Hale, a teacher from Westwood Elementary School in Greenwood, Arkansas writes: "The 4th graders wanted to raise money for new library books for the school at the children's home in Oaxaca. They held a coin drive which started after Thanksgiving break and continued for about three weeks. I am a fourth grade teacher there, and can proudly say the kids raised over $403! My husband Greg and I added to that to bring that total to $500."

LARRY KIELER IN HOSPITAL

Our dear friend Olive Kieler, Mission, British Columbia writes, "Larry is doing well. He is now doing physio therapy to get him more mobile so he can come home. Water retention is still a concern, please keep praying.

Larry and Olive have made countless trips to the Baja Mission.

MERCY

Paul Grasser, writes of his granddaughter Mercy, a 13 year old child with special needs: “It’s been over a week since we’ve been back home from treatments
and hospitalizations, and things are looking up! Mercy has been improving cognitively and we are feeling hopeful again. She is remembering memories again, she is dreaming and telling us her dreams. The most amazing part about
all of this news is the fact that her neurologist made it clear to us that
Mercy will not be able to gain back the cognitive abilities that she has lost!
But our God is greater! She is in the hands of The Great Physician!!!
We are witnessing a miracle! And all praise goes to Jesus.

GLENDA MENDEZ

Said and Sarai Mendez’s, (our missionaries at the Baja Mission) daughter Glenda, will undergo surgery for removal of a kidney on Monday, January 21st at 8am.
