HONORING THE BRAVE MEN AND WOMEN
WHO'VE GIVEN THEIR LIVES IN SERVICE TO OUR COUNTRY
CHUCK PEREAU AND PASTOR LEELAND LANTZ
Memorial Day is a day for all of us to reflect on the Veterans who sacrificed their lives to give us our freedom. Lutheran Church of the Cross hosted a luncheon for those who are 86 or over. There were many veterans among the group. Chuck sang The Star Spangled Banner with an unusual anointing. There was a holy hush. Pastor Lantz wept.

hazy smoke for a week. Our wells are running very low also.

combat these fires and to fill the wells.

VOLUNTEERS FROM CANADA
Have you signed up yet for your youth or older volunteer group
to visit one of our missions? It will change your life forever.
Amy Ballantyne writes, “My heart is full from having experienced a trip of a lifetime. We really don't know what we don't know. For many of us who are fortunate to live in Canada, it is hard to imagine and comprehend the need outside of our country.
It has been a dream of mine since high school to travel outside of Canada
to be of service, and I am so very grateful to have had the opportunity
to travel with the True Health Foundation to FFHM, an incredible organization with tremendous volunteers like Susan Eichensehr who share
their love every single day with the children at the mission.
My heart is full with the desire to continue to support this organization.”
An update on Lois. The family is praying that she will be able
to return to her lovely home. She’s been in a skilled nursing facility
