LLOYD OGILVIE: 1931 - 2019
The dash in the middle has been a life filled with the Glory of God. Lloyd Ogilvie served as Pastor at Hollywood Presbyterian Church from 1972-1995. This charismatic leader was nominated for an Angel Award in 1987 for 12 Steps to Living Without Fear, but amazingly Charla's Children won the coveted award.
Subsequently, I was asked to give a testimony at
the First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood. I was greatly honored.
Lloyd served as 61st Chaplain to the US Senate for eight years.
In 2006, with Ogilvie's support, Fuller Theological Seminary established
the Lloyd John Ogilvie Institute of Preaching, offering resources
that empower preachers to seek justice and lead others to join
God's mission in the world.
English speaking school teachers are urgently needed at the Baja Mission.

CHILDREN IN OAXACA
Two of the children in a Bible class in Llano Encino, Coicoyan felt the need to receive Christ at the end of the class. After they prayed, Maria Villa Pablo committed them to the Lord for His keeping power. None of their families are believers; they are the first in their families. Their names are Jose Luis and Gabriela. Pray that many will follow them.
Angelina will be missed in the Medical Center at the Baja Mission.
She will attend the Bible Institute in the fall.
Pray blessings over this new stage in her life.
Twila, who is writing the sequel to Charla’s Children,
has encountered many obstacles. She is a caregiver for an invalid husband, has had medical issues, and because of the inclement weather
in the Midwest, her basement has been flooded, etc., etc., etc.
Please lift her up in prayer.
